Donald Rumsfeld, architect of the Iraq war and the lies that led to it, is chiming in on Syria, offering advice as to how we should conduct ourselves.
I’m not yet sure how I feel about Syria, but Mr. Rumsfeld’s hysteria over the lesson that HE alone apparently needed to learn about war and its politics does not inform my opinion.
It took till the very end of the Iraq play for Rumsfeld to finally figure out the plot, whereas we, the presumably uninformed minions of the left, knew the story line by the intermission, and were heckling the players throughout.
Mr Rumsfeld shouldn’t compliment himself by thinking everyone is as unaware of the obvious as he. Barack Obama will get this either right or wrong on his own. The advice of a proven, abject failure is of no benefit to the current conversation. Rumsfeld may have experience in this matter, but that experience is limited to deception and disgrace.
Do me a favor and stay home Mr. Rumsfeld.
We’ve got this, thanks.
